Wendy Muleshe

Project Manager & Consultant

Certified Associate in Project Management

Impact-driven leader with extensive experience in project grant management. Wendy has coordinated and implemented several European Union-funded projects under Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, CERV and AMIF programmes in Kenya, Somalia, and Rwanda. She has consulted for Europe-based NGOs, coordinated capacity building projects and formed consortia with relevant Universities, providing the team with a significant advantage in project coordination and execution.

Nelly Wanjiru

Researcher

Public Policy and Administration (Postgraduate)

Highly skilled and experienced researcher with a strong background in Public Policy and Administration. With over 3 years of professional research experience, Nelly has contributed to impactful donor funded projects and collaborated with esteemed consulting organizations in Kenya, where she honed her analytical skills and ability to navigate complex policy landscapes. Her work has been instrumental in providing strategic insights that drive evidence-based decisions and solutions.

Shayanne Njihia

Program Specialist

Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, Certifications in Mediation and Data Science

Results-driven professional with a strong commitment to gender justice, conflict resolution, and community development. Shayanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a focus on International Law and Human Rights. She has augmented her academic pursuits with certifications in Mediation and Data Science, and technical expertise in Python programming.

Dr. Eunice Boruru

Lead Evaluation Consultant

PhD in Sociology, Master's in Rural Sociology and Community Development

Bringing over 15 years of experience in development sociology, gender studies, and community-driven climate adaptation. Dr. Boruru provides expert leadership in project evaluations, socio-economic research, and gender-responsive programming. Her work focuses on climate change adaptation, livelihoods, and social policy, with extensive experience across Kenya's ASAL regions and Eastern Africa. At GPCI, she leads efforts to integrate socio-economic and gender dimensions into climate resilience and sustainability projects, ensuring inclusivity and impact.

Dr. George Njema

Research Consultant - Climate Innovation

PhD in Computational, Analytical, and Physical Chemistry

Brings extensive expertise in renewable energy technologies and environmental sustainability. Leveraging his advanced research in solar cell fabrication, simulation, and energy systems optimization, Dr. Njema supports GPCI's climate innovation and green technology programs by guiding research design, data analysis, and quality assurance processes. Through his role, he aims to strengthen the institute's capacity in clean energy research, climate-smart solutions, and technology-driven environmental initiatives.

Alphonce Magati

Environmental and Water Engineer

Master's in Civil and Construction Engineering (in progress), University of Nairobi

Seasoned Environmental and Water Engineer with over eight years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and project assessments across Kenya. He has worked with partners such as World Vision, IFAD, FAO, and USAID, leading evaluations in WASH, climate resilience, and rural development. Alphonce specializes in results-based management, hydrological assessments, and impact evaluations, bringing strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills to donor-funded projects.

Davis Nyongesa

Research Consultant – Water, Environment and Climate Adaptation

Advanced expertise in GIS, Remote Sensing, and Data Analytics

Serves as a Research Consultant with over five years of experience in climate modelling, water resource management, and resilience planning. Based in The Hague, Netherlands, he leverages advanced expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and data analytics to design evidence-based solutions for climate adaptation, water security, and sustainable development. His work integrates geospatial and hydrological modelling to inform policy and improve resource management across Africa.
